What the documents look like
Letter-of-credit document examination and presentation works from the issuing bank's advice, UCP600 clauses, freight forwarder bills of lading, and bank presentation records. A typical document set contains the letter of credit, commercial invoice, bill of lading, insurance policy, and draft. The work serves bank payment conditions, so the central question is consistency across documents rather than tax matching. Data changes per transaction, which means store service and internal training face field combinations that shift from one document set to the next. Forms must carry repeatable per-transaction information, and interactive nodes must record workflow state and wait for completion before the flow continues. Document inconsistency can lead to refusal, deductions, and delayed collection, and the completeness of form fields directly affects whether later manual checking can proceed.
Constraints at the interactive forms step
When the form input node triggers, the conversation enters an interactive state and the workflow state is recorded. After the user fills required information and submits, the node collects the submitted form information and passes it to later nodes. The user selection node judges the user's choice and executes the corresponding branch. Neither node carries a business database function. Field validation, business approval, write-back, and batch operations require an external system or later nodes. Retrieval or form submission does not constitute authorized execution, and operational handover must distinguish whether material is pending review, already submitted, or already authorized.
Hypothetical drill sample: in a store internal training scenario, a document clerk submits one paper record whose source text reads: "Issuing bank advice number H-001, letter-of-credit amount USD 50,000, latest shipment date 2025-06-30, presentation period 21 days after shipment; the attached bill of lading shows shipment date 2025-06-25, and the commercial invoice shows amount USD 50,000." The proposed handover request sentence is: "Please confirm this document set has passed examination and can be presented directly to the bank." That request merges form collection with business approval. Neither the examination conclusion nor the presentation authorization appears in the material.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration item | Use on this page | Basis and boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Form input node | Collect per-transaction fields such as letter-of-credit number, amount, shipment date, presentation period | Documentation states submitted information passes to later nodes; no built-in database |
| Required-field check | List fields this task cannot omit, then test missing and completed behavior | Documentation gives no field list; missing-field behavior needs actual checking |
| User selection node | Set branches for examination conclusion or handover destination | Documentation states branches follow the user's choice; this does not constitute approval |
| Interactive state record | Wait for the user to complete interaction before continuing | Documentation states workflow state is recorded; submission count and snapshots are not described |
| Downstream processing split | Field validation, approval, and write-back handled by an external system | Documentation states the node does not carry a business database function |
Hypothetical starting point for this drill: set "letter-of-credit number, amount, shipment date, presentation period" as required, because these fields correspond to the subject and period information needed to judge document consistency in the sample. The comparison method is to submit two inputs, one missing a single field and one with all four present, and observe whether the node releases to later nodes. This starting point is a hypothetical setting for this page, not an official default.
Three common errors
- Treating form submission as examination passage or presentation authorization. In the sample, the proposed handover request asks for confirmation that examination has passed and direct presentation is possible. The material states only surface information from the letter of credit, bill of lading, and invoice. It states no examination conclusion and no presentation authorization, so the request remains unsupported.
- Treating the branch result of the user selection node as a business approval result. A branch shows only that the user made a choice. Approval requires an external system.
- Treating retrieval or form collection as a permission-isolation measure. Relevance and semantic recall do not perform entity or permission filtering. Retrieval is not authorization.
How to verify the setup
- Input the sample source text and the proposed handover request sentence. Compare the shipment date, presentation period, and amount stated in the material against the request's wording that examination has passed and direct presentation is possible. If the material states no examination conclusion and no presentation authorization, the request must be judged unsupported and must not be released as authorized presentation.
- Input the sample fields with all four required items present, and compare whether submission proceeds to later nodes. Then input a version missing the presentation period, and observe whether the node flags the missing item and remains in the interactive state. The expectation is that the complete version can be submitted and the missing version stays waiting; this is the design expectation and has not been tested.
- Input one paper record that states no examination conclusion, and compare whether a user selection branch result and an external approval record both exist. If the external system holds no approval record, the branch result shows only that a choice was made, and presentation authorization remains to be verified.
