What the documents look like
Trade returns and claims handle reverse logistics and liability determination after export is complete. The material does not sit in one system. Customer email, quality inspection reports, customs systems and insurer claim systems each hold part of the picture, and the store service and internal training setting deals with the same set of documents as they pass between handover and instruction: the return agreement, the claim letter, the quality report and the return customs declaration.
Updates arrive irregularly, once per case. This page does not introduce batch synchronization or event-driven triggers, because the source material does not describe them.
For staff training, the practical question is whether the documents that move through a workflow can be checked against one another at the point of routing. A return agreement may state a reason that is still pending inspection. A claim letter may assert a loss without stating its basis. A handover request may ask that material be entered and advanced. Each of these is an input to a workflow, and none of them is by itself an authorization to execute a business action.
Constraints at the workflow routing step
In FastGPT v4.17.2, the form input node and the user selection node are both user interaction nodes. When either node is triggered, the conversation enters an interaction state and the workflow state is recorded. After the user completes the interaction, execution continues downward. The form input node collects required information and passes it to subsequent nodes. The user selection node judges the user's choice and executes the corresponding "yes" branch.
Two consequences follow for this category. First, a collected value is a collected value. Order writes, document backfill and external status synchronization require a separate business interface or a later process. Second, the "yes" branch of a user selection node is a branch, not a business approval. Routing a case down a branch does not sign an agreement, does not approve a claim and does not submit anything to an insurer.
Hypothetical drill sample for training, clearly labelled as constructed: a store receives a draft return agreement whose text reads, "Party A agrees to accept the returned goods; the return reason is pending quality inspection confirmation; this agreement takes effect on the date both parties sign." A draft claim letter reads, "Due to non-conforming quality, compensation is requested." The proposed handover request reads, "Please enter the above two documents into the workflow and advance to claim submission."
In this sample, the agreement's reason field is pending, the agreement is unsigned, and the claim letter states no basis for the amount claimed. The handover request asks for advancement to submission. None of these three facts supplies a signature, an inspection conclusion or a payment basis.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration item | Use on this page | How to check |
|---|---|---|
| Form input node | Collect required fields such as return agreement number and inspection conclusion status | After submission, compare the fields passed to later nodes against the values entered |
| User selection node | Set a yes/no branch on whether the return reason is confirmed | Verify each branch connection against the selection result |
| Interaction state check | Confirm the conversation enters the interaction state and the state is recorded after triggering | Observe whether the conversation enters the interaction state; no separate global switch is set |
| Output handoff check | Pass collected values to retrieval or judgment nodes | Compare output field by field against input |
| External action separation | Claim submission and database writes connect to separate interfaces | Confirm the workflow does not itself complete business actions |
Three common errors
- Treating a collected "return reason pending quality inspection confirmation" as a confirmed conclusion and advancing the claim branch. Input is the agreement text above; compare the field value "pending" against "confirmed"; the observable result is whether the flow enters the "yes" branch. In the sample it should not, because the reason remains pending.
- Treating the handover request "advance to claim submission" as authorized execution. Input is that request text; compare the request against any signature or approval record; the observable result is whether a submission is asserted without a signing or approval basis. In the sample no such record is present.
- Treating the "yes" branch of the user selection node as business approval. Input is the selection result; compare the selection against the conditions for calling a downstream interface; the observable result is whether a submission is claimed when no interface configuration exists.
How to verify the setup
- Enter the return agreement text above together with the handover request. Compare the agreement's "pending quality inspection confirmation" against the workflow's judgment field. The condition for entering the claim branch is met only when the judgment field reads "confirmed" and a signature record exists. Expected result: the flow does not enter. Actual observation is to be recorded.
- Enter the claim letter draft, "Due to non-conforming quality, compensation is requested." Compare its subject and period against the return customs declaration and the quality report. A contradiction requires the same subject, the same period and mutually exclusive values in the same field. The current evidence states no basis for the compensation amount, so the item remains unverified.
- Enter an empty reference result as a paper input of
[]and compare whether downstream nodes are designed to accept an empty value. Observe whether any unsupported automatic action appears. Retrieval does not carry authorization responsibility. Libraries on different vector models cannot be associated together; check identifiers first and exclude non-matching items rather than running a cross-model retrieval to compare recall.
