What the documents look like
Franchise supervision data supports the headquarters' oversight of how franchisees carry out standards. The main sources are the supervision app, POS sales, the franchise system and store photographs. The daily documents are store visit forms, franchise contracts, rectification notices and display standards. The update frequency is weekly and monthly, which makes operating reporting and exception review primarily a periodic reconciliation exercise rather than a real-time synchronization or transaction-triggered mechanism. Errors carry consequences in franchise disputes, brand image damage and contract breach, so every field in a report needs a traceable link to a specific document and authorization state.
Three facts shape this page's task. Supervision is directed at a franchisee's execution of headquarters standards, so the review unit is a store and a period, not a single transaction. The document set mixes contractual terms with field observations, and these two kinds of record answer different questions. The review cycle is weekly and monthly, so a report reconciles records already collected rather than streaming live events.
Constraints at the database operations step
Database operations must separate the business record store from the vector retrieval backend, and each service is checked against the actual deployment. Connection settings are not inferred from a name, and backup generation and actual recovery are verified separately. Retrieval results do not carry permission or entity isolation duties, and datasets that use different vector models cannot be jointly associated.
Hypothetical drill sample. The franchise contract text reads: "Party A authorizes Party B to use the brand mark at the XX Road store, authorization period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025." The store visit form records: "5 March 2025, XX Road store, refrigerated cabinet temperature below standard, verbal reminder given." The rectification notice reads: "Please submit a photograph of the refrigerated cabinet temperature rectification before 20 March 2025." The draft sentence to be judged is: "The refrigerated cabinet temperature issue at the XX Road store was rectified in March 2025." That draft sentence lacks a rectification photograph or a re-inspection record and is unsupported.
The retrieval layer returns candidate content by similarity. Similarity is not a category, entity or permission filter, and a high score does not place a record inside a supervisor's authorized scope. The business record store and the vector backend are checked as separate services, and a configuration change is followed by a re-check of the same business sample rather than by process liveness alone.
Configuration and implementation checks
The table lists documented settings or named implementation checks relevant to this page's task. The numeric starting values are hypothetical trial starting points for this page's comparison, chosen so that a self-observed baseline can be compared; they are not official defaults.
| Configuration item | Hypothetical trial starting point | Check method |
|---|---|---|
DB_MAX_LINK | Set to 20 | Compare with connection counts observed under the deployment's own load; do not copy an untested concurrency threshold |
SYNC_INDEX | Left enabled | Missing indexes are created at startup; when disabled, indexes are maintained separately |
MONGODB_URI | Filled per actual deployment | Check the business record store connection; do not infer from the name |
PG_URL | Filled per actual deployment | Check the vector retrieval backend connection, kept distinct from the business store |
FILE_TOKEN_KEY | Random strong key | Required at runtime; do not reuse an example value |
STORAGE_DOWNLOAD_URL_MODE | Kept at short-proxy | Check download short-link behavior; after a change, re-check the same business sample |
FILE_TOKEN_KEY, AES256_SECRET_KEY and INVOKE_TOKEN_SECRET are required at runtime. DB_MAX_LINK is automatically limited to the range 10 to 1000. SYNC_INDEX defaults to true; when it is turned off, index maintenance becomes a separate responsibility. The download mode returns a FastGPT short link to the outside in either documented mode.
Three common errors
- Treating the draft sentence "The refrigerated cabinet temperature issue at the XX Road store was rectified in March 2025" as supported. Input: the store visit form and the rectification notice. Comparison: whether the photograph required by the rectification notice has been submitted. Observable result: when no photograph is submitted, the sentence is unsupported.
- Treating retrieval similarity as a permission filter. Input: a supervision app query request. Comparison: whether the returned records fall inside the supervisor's authorized scope. Observable result: when similarity is high but the subject does not match, the record is excluded by human review.
- Treating backup generation as equivalent to usable recovery. Input: a backup file list. Comparison: sample records after an actual recovery. Observable result: when a backup exists but no recovery record exists, recovery capability remains unverified.
How to verify the setup
- Input the contract text and the draft sentence from the hypothetical sample. Compare the authorization period field with the rectification status field. Observe whether the draft sentence matches the source on the same subject, the same period and the same field. The source states only the authorization period and does not state that rectification was completed, so the sentence is unsupported.
- Input the store visit form record and the rectification notice. Compare the submission date required by the notice with the presence of a photograph receipt. Observe whether submitted evidence exists. When the photograph receipt is absent, record the item as pending verification.
- Input a retrieval query. Compare the subject identifier on returned records with the querying subject. Observe whether they match. Datasets using different vector models cannot be jointly associated; check identifiers first, exclude non-matching records, and record the actual observation.
A pending rectification is not a completed rectification. A rectification notice that requests a photograph does not by itself show that the photograph was submitted, and a store visit form that records a verbal reminder does not show that the temperature issue was resolved. The authorization period in the contract and the rectification status in the notice are different fields answering different questions, and the contract text supplied here does not address rectification at all. Where a record is absent, the gap stays a gap rather than becoming a negative finding.
