What the documents look like
Letter-of-credit document examination and presentation turns on documentary consistency. It serves the bank's payment conditions, and its direction differs from export tax rebate filing, which turns on tax matching. The main data comes from issuing-bank notices, UCP600 clauses, freight forwarder bills of lading, and bank presentation records. The everyday documents are the letter of credit, commercial invoice, bill of lading, insurance policy, and draft. Data updates once per transaction.
Operating reports and exception reviews need to tie a given presentation's conversation records to the underlying business documents. The conversation log and audit step therefore carries a checking duty: confirm which transaction, which presentation, and which entry point a log entry belongs to, then judge whether that record can support a review conclusion. A log's existence does not mean a compliance audit is complete. Reconciliation, retention, and compliance requirements are handled separately by a full business solution.
Two industry facts shape this step. First, conversation identity is split across two levels: chatId distinguishes a conversation, and dataId distinguishes a dialogue within that conversation. Second, the interface returns only the fields it actually returns; business data that is not returned cannot be presumed to be fully retained.
Constraints at the conversation logs step
Conversation identity uses chatId for the conversation and dataId for the dialogue within it. Checking must combine chatId with the business record. Conversations from different entry points cannot be pooled into one count.
When run details are needed, set detail on the conversation interface as the official contract specifies, and inspect the module status and complete results in responseData. When detail=false, responseData is not returned. Check only the fields the log and interface actually return. Business data that is not returned cannot be presumed to be fully retained. Identity fields in test mode may differ from a formal call; verify input, history, and returned content separately for each. Retrieval or a form collecting values does not constitute authorization, approval, a database write, or external synchronization.
Hypothetical paper exercise (not a real record): under a letter of credit, the presentation material reads, "The issuing-bank notice states the shipment period runs to 31 March 2025; the bill of lading is dated 28 March 2025; the insurance policy is dated 29 March 2025." One draft sentence awaiting judgment reads, "This presentation was completed within the letter of credit's validity, the documents are consistent, and receipt of payment can be confirmed." That sentence addresses only the shipment period and the bill of lading and insurance policy dates. It does not state the presentation date, the letter of credit's expiry date, or the bank's examination result. The authorization boundary is internal review by the documents clerk, and it does not include bank payment confirmation. The part of the sentence about confirming receipt of payment is unsupported, and the evidence gap must be preserved.
Configuration and implementation checks
The table below lists only settings or implementation checks that the supplied documents describe and that relate to this page and its primary task.
| Configuration item | Value or state | Check note |
|---|---|---|
| Conversation interface detail | Hypothetical trial starting point true | Set when responseData run details are needed; compare with a false return to confirm whether intermediate values appear |
| chatId | One non-empty string per transaction | Map to the business record; length under 250; check whether conversations from different entry points are pooled |
| dataId | Dialogue identifier within a conversation | Map to a single log entry; check whether feedback and run details locate the same dialogue |
| source | api | Used when fetching the conversation list to separate conversations created through the API; check whether page conversations are also returned |
| loadCustomFeedbacks | Hypothetical trial starting point true | Read custom feedback when fetching the dialogue list; compare with omitting it to confirm whether feedback fields are returned |
| stream and event | Chosen as needed | With stream=true, node status is distinguished by event; check whether flowResponses contains the complete response |
Three common errors
- Merging conversations from different entry points under one chatId into a single count. Input: two conversation lists, one with source=api and one from a page source. Compare the chatId against the source field. If both are counted as presentations of the same transaction, the counting basis is wrong. Executable check: list the source field separately and confirm the target transaction takes only records from the matching source.
- Inferring from a detail=false return that run details were retained. Input: a response with detail=false. Compare whether responseData is present. If module status is asserted as complete based on the choices content, the conclusion exceeds the returned range. Executable check: set detail=true and re-fetch the same dataId, then compare whether responseData appears.
- Treating retrieval or a form submission as authorized execution. Input: one interactive-node form submission. Compare the submitted value against the approval status field. If this is used to conclude that the presentation has received bank acceptance, collection and approval are conflated. Executable check: verify whether an independent approval record exists; if it is missing, record the matter as pending verification.
How to verify the setup
- Use the hypothetical material text and draft sentence above. Input: the three source sentences covering the shipment period, bill of lading date, and insurance policy date, plus the draft sentence about confirming receipt of payment. Compare the facts stated in the draft sentence against the fields the source actually states: the source does not state the presentation date or the expiry date, and it does not state the bank's examination result. The satisfying result is that the unsupported part of the draft sentence is marked out, the stated dates are matched item by item, and no conclusion of confirmed receipt of payment appears.
- Use one handover request from the same hypothetical sample: "Please hand this transaction's log to the compliance audit." Input: that request together with chatId and dataId. Compare the authorization state described in the request against the actual approval record. The satisfying result is that the request is recorded as pending review, and no wording of approval or execution appears.
- Use the hypothetical input [] to check how an empty result is handled downstream. Input: an empty reference list. Compare whether the downstream design treats it as an empty result. The satisfying result is that the downstream shows no reference content and produces no fabricated entries; it is not claimed that this input necessarily returns empty.
All three verifications are paper expectations and were not actually run. Libraries across different vector models cannot be associated together. Check identifiers first and exclude those that do not match; do not infer missed recall or redundant results from this.
