What the documents look like
Category access happens before listing or merchant onboarding, so the working material is entity qualification and the authorization chain rather than post-sale review maintenance. Four document families arrive from different issuers: the business license, the trademark registration certificate, the brand authorization chain, and industry licences. Each carries its own status field, validity period, and scope wording, and none of them substitutes for another. Operating reports have to assemble the holding status, validity window, and authorization boundary of these materials into records that can be checked line by line. Exception review works backwards from a rejection or a correction request to the specific field of a specific document that fell short.
Material updates are irregular and resubmission happens at each onboarding attempt, so reports can be grouped by onboarding batch. No bulk synchronization mechanism is required by the source material.
Constraints at the database operations step
Business source data and the vector retrieval backend serve different purposes. Connection values are checked against the actual deployed service address, and a configuration value is not inferred from a variable name. A similarity score affects recall ordering only. It does not perform entity isolation or authorization judgement, and a retrieval action does not itself constitute authorization. Forms collect material field values. Business verification, approval, database writes, and external synchronization each need their own downstream implementation and are not completed by one retrieval or one submission.
Hypothetical paper exercise. The submitted material text for one onboarding batch reads: "The business license records the entity as Company A, the unified social credit code field is filled as A0000000000000000A, and the registration status is surviving. The trademark registration certificate records the registrant as Company A, the approved goods class as Class 9, and the exclusive right period from 1 January 2024 to 1 January 2034. The brand authorization chain document records that Company A authorizes Company B to use the trademark, with an authorization period from 1 January 2025 to 1 January 2026 and an authorization scope of Class 9 goods." The draft sentence to be judged reads: "Company B has obtained complete authorization for Class 9 goods and may submit the category access application." That sentence involves the entity Company B, the object Class 9 goods, and the period 1 January 2025 to 1 January 2026, and must be compared field by field against the authorization chain text.
Configuration and implementation checks
The table covers material checking and report grouping for this exercise. Numeric entries are starting points for this hypothetical trial only and are not official defaults.
| Configuration item | Hypothetical trial starting point | Reason and comparison method |
|---|---|---|
| Database connection address | Filled according to the deployment plan | Compare with the actual address of the chosen database service; do not infer from the name |
| Vector retrieval backend address | Filled according to the deployment plan | Compare with the actual vector store service address and confirm it is separate from the source database |
| Database connection pool maximum links | 10 | Starting point taken from the documented lower bound; compare with observed connection counts under own load |
| Console log level | info | Compare with the information needed for troubleshooting so material status records are not buried |
| Metrics export interval | 30000 | Compare with the observation window in use to confirm exceptions can be recorded |
| Vector retrieval parameter | 100 | Applies only to PG, OceanBase, and openGauss; compare with observed retrieval results |
Three common errors
- Treating a retrieval similarity score as an authorization filter and assuming the recalled results already exclude entities without rights. Retrieval performs no entity or permission judgement, so the entity, object, and period in the authorization chain text still require separate checking.
- Treating form submission as completed business verification and assuming filled fields mean the material is valid. A form collects values only; verification and the write require downstream implementation.
- Treating a pending-review status as granted authorization and writing "has obtained complete authorization" directly into a draft sentence. A pending status neither demonstrates a lack of rights nor demonstrates granted rights, and the original status field wording has to be retained.
How to verify the setup
- Input the material text and the draft sentence from the hypothetical exercise above, then compare the entity, object, and period in the draft sentence against the authorization chain text field by field. The sentence matches the source only when Company B, Class 9, and 1 January 2025 to 1 January 2026 all correspond. Where the authorization scope exceeds the source or the period does not match, the sentence is unsupported.
- Input one paper retrieval request and compare the returned entries against the expected recall range. Observe whether returned entries fall inside the material range being queried. If the return is empty, check the downstream design against the explicit paper input rather than assuming that a fabricated rule necessarily returns an empty result.
- Input the same business sample before and after a database or service configuration change, then compare whether the same material field can still be checked afterwards. Process liveness is not a pass condition; the observable result is that field values for the identical sample remain consistent.
