What the documents look like
Citation tracing for creator commission settlement and commission deduction works on four document types: commission setting records, settlement bills, refund deduction details, and invoices. These materials arrive from the selected alliance backend, order after-sales data, the finance system, and creator contracts, with weekly or monthly update frequency. Settlement happens after a transaction completes, so the reconciliation focus falls on valid promotion and after-sales deduction. One order can therefore sit at different stages across materials at the same moment: the bill is issued, the refund has occurred, and the commission deduction has not yet been posted.
Citation tracing here means that every commission figure, deduction amount, and invoice detail cited in a report or review conclusion can be returned to the exact original location and version in a specific material. Because materials are spread across several systems and versions can differ, a citation must state which material it came from, which version, and which period it covers.
This category differs from dedicated creator sessions: commission settlement occurs after the transaction, and the review emphasis is valid promotion plus after-sales deduction rather than live-room performance. Errors in this trace produce creator disputes, incorrect finance entries, and stalled cooperation. The three most time-consuming steps are checking valid orders, deducting refunded commission, and issuing invoices and paying out. Those steps shape what a citation must carry, because a figure without its source material, version, and period cannot be reconciled with the bill it appears in.
Constraints at the citation tracing step
The knowledge base search node outputs cited content as an array, and the length may be zero. Even when nothing is retrieved, that output path still completes. An empty array is a normal output and does not mean the workflow terminated with an error. Cited content must be handed to the answering step, where each statement is checked against the cited original text.
When associating knowledge bases, only knowledge bases that share the same vector model can be selected together. Libraries using different vector models cannot be associated jointly. During checking, confirm the vector model identifier first, exclude those that do not match, and record the actual observation. Do not run cross-model retrieval to compare missed recall.
Hybrid retrieval merges results from multiple channels through the RRF formula. RRF is a fusion process, not a switch that can be turned on. Result reranking requires a rerank model and must be enabled according to settings. Image retrieval requires corresponding image input and model capability. The optional paths shown in the overall document flow diagram do not mean every request executes all of them.
Minimum relevance is a value between 0 and 1. It takes effect only in semantic retrieval or when result reranking is used. It is a filter threshold, not a final ordering rule. This value does not perform permission or entity isolation, and retrieval itself does not constitute authorization.
Hypothetical paper exercise sample
The following materials and request are constructed for this paper exercise only. They do not correspond to any real customer, company, or identity number.
Material text one (commission setting record, hypothetical): A creator cooperation period runs from March 1, 2025 to March 31, 2025, with a commission rate of 15% of transaction amount, and refunded orders are excluded from the settlement base.
Material text two (refund deduction detail, hypothetical): Order A was transacted on March 20, 2025, with a transaction amount of 200 yuan. A full refund occurred on March 25, 2025, and the corresponding commission of 30 yuan has already been deducted in the March bill.
Material text three (settlement bill, hypothetical): The March 2025 bill covers the settlement period March 1 to March 31, and the bill status is pending review.
Draft sentence to be judged (hypothetical): The March 2025 bill has completed settlement, and the 30 yuan commission for Order A has not been deducted.
Configuration and implementation checks
The table below lists only documented settings or implementation check items relevant to the citation tracing task on this page. The hypothetical trial starting value is used for this paper comparison only and does not represent an official default.
| Configuration or check item | Hypothetical trial starting value | Reason for selection and comparison method |
|---|---|---|
| Associated knowledge bases | Include only knowledge bases with matching vector model identifiers | Compare vector model identifiers one by one; exclude any that differ |
| Cited content output | Accept as an array, length zero permitted | Compare with downstream node input design to confirm an empty array can be received |
| Cited input handoff | Connect retrieval output to the answering step | Compare answer content against cited original text, item by item |
| Search mode | Hybrid retrieval | Compare with semantic retrieval alone, observing differences in hits for identifier-type queries |
| Minimum relevance | Hypothetical starting value 0.4 for this exercise | Compare with 0.2 and 0.6, observing changes in candidate count |
| Result reranking | Enabled according to settings | Compare candidate ordering before and after enabling, confirming a rerank model is configured |
Reason for the 0.4 minimum relevance starting value: this sample contains order identifiers and amounts, so some low-relevance fragments need filtering while enough candidates remain for manual checking. This value is not an official default; it serves only as a starting point for this paper comparison.
Three common errors
- Treating a pending review status as completed settlement. Material text three states that the March 2025 bill status is pending review, and pending review does not constitute completed settlement. The draft sentence claims the bill has completed settlement, which conflicts with the stated status in the original text.
- Describing an already deducted commission as not deducted. Material text two states that the corresponding commission of 30 yuan for Order A has already been deducted in the March bill. The draft sentence claims that 30 yuan has not been deducted, which contradicts the explicit value of the same field.
- Using retrieval results in place of an authorization judgment. A retrieval hit on a settlement bill only shows the material was recalled. It does not show that settlement was approved or that payment was executed. Authorization status requires a separate system implementation or manual verification, and retrieval does not perform that function.
How to verify the setup
- Input material texts one, two, and three together with the draft sentence. Compare the bill status in the draft sentence against "pending review" in material text three, and compare the deduction conclusion in the draft sentence against "already deducted" in material text two. When both comparisons show inconsistency, the draft sentence is judged unsupported and must return to the original text for verification. If a corresponding field is absent from the original material, record it as unsupported or pending verification rather than as a negation or conflict.
- Input a paper citation array
[]and compare whether the downstream answering node's input design accepts an array of length zero. The condition is met when the path completes and the downstream step does not error on the empty array. This paper input does not mean that a fictional rule retrieval will necessarily return an empty array. - Input the vector model identifiers of each knowledge base and compare whether the identifiers match. When a library with a non-matching identifier exists, exclude it and record the actual observation. Cross-model libraries cannot be associated jointly, and cross-model retrieval is not run to compare missed recall.
