What the documents look like
Returned-goods inspection handles reverse parcels and item grades. It does not handle outbound picking for new orders. The working data comes from the WMS returns module, platform after-sales records, carrier returns, and the inspection bench. The daily documents are the return inbound receipt, inspection photos, the grade determination sheet, and the resale listing sheet. Updates occur per item and per day. A mistake can put a defective unit back on sale, create a refund dispute, or contaminate inventory.
For operating reviews, conversation logs have to line up with a specific return inbound receipt, its inspection photos, and its grade determination record. A log that exists is not a completed compliance audit. Reconciliation, retention, and compliance requirements are handled by the full business solution. Retrieval and form-collected values do not constitute authorization to execute.
The following hypothetical drill sample is used throughout this page. A returns warehouse inspector processes return inbound receipt TH-20250610-017 on 10 June 2025. The item is a Bluetooth earphone. The inspection photo shows a scratch on the housing. The grade determination sheet gives an initial judgment of grade B, resalable. The inspector submits a handover request in the conversation: "Please move this return receipt into the resale listing process." That request has not received inventory administrator approval. The material text is: "Return inbound receipt TH-20250610-017, item: Bluetooth earphone, quantity: 1 piece, inspection conclusion: grade B, resalable." The draft sentence under review is: "This return receipt has been approved for resale listing."
Constraints at the conversation logs step
A conversation log is identified by chatId for the session and dataId for one dialogue within it. Retrieving the session list with source=api returns only sessions created through the API, not sessions on the page. Retrieving the dialogue list can pass loadCustomFeedbacks to read custom feedback. Retrieving one dialogue's run detail requires appId, chatId, and dataId. The chat completions endpoint returns responseData when detail=true, and that structure carries module run information. Business data that is not returned cannot be presumed fully retained.
The sample touches several boundaries. The handover request is a form-collected value. Business approval and the database write need their stated downstream implementation. A pending request is not approval. An offered option is not execution. An unsigned termination is not a completed termination. The draft sentence claims approval that the material text does not carry.
The conversation endpoint has documented conditions worth keeping in view. The model and temperature fields passed by the caller have no effect; orchestration decides them. The endpoint does not return the actual consumed Token value; setting detail=true and manually calculating the tokens value in responseData is the documented path. If authProxy is used to proxy a team member identity, the team owner must have enabled authProxy when creating or editing the key, and the proxied identity still needs permission on the target application and session. This applies to FastGPT versions at or above v4.15.0. A relevance score is not a category, entity, or permission filter, and retrieval is not authorization.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration item | Documented setting or implementation check | Link to this page's sample |
|---|---|---|
| appId | Application ID, obtainable from the application detail path | Confirm which application the TH-20250610-017 conversation belongs to |
| chatId | Session ID, length under 250, must be unique | Locate the session holding the inspector's handover request |
| dataId | ID of one dialogue under a session | Pin down the specific dialogue containing that request |
| detail | Set to true to return responseData intermediate values | Set per the documented contract when run detail is needed |
| source | source=api returns only API-created sessions | Separate API-origin sessions from page-origin sessions |
| loadCustomFeedbacks | Optional; whether to read custom feedback | Check whether the inspector left feedback on that dialogue |
Three common errors
- Treating a retrieval or form-collected value as authorized execution. In the sample, the inspector submits a handover request, and the form only collects a value; business approval and the database write need downstream implementation. Check the input: the handover request text and the approval status field. Compare: whether the request carries an approval-passed marker. Observable result: if the approval status is empty or pending review, the request is not authorized.
- Mixing sessions from different entry points into one count. In the sample, source=api sessions and page sessions can coexist. Check the input: the source field returned by the session list. Compare: whether the target chatId comes from the API source. Observable result: if source does not match, that session is not included in this API log count.
- Presuming that unreturned fields were retained. In the sample, if detail=false, responseData is not returned. Check the input: the value of the request parameter detail. Compare: whether the response contains responseData. Observable result: if detail=false and there is no responseData, run detail was not obtained, and retention cannot be presumed.
How to verify the setup
- Input the sample material text "Return inbound receipt TH-20250610-017, item: Bluetooth earphone, quantity: 1 piece, inspection conclusion: grade B, resalable" and the draft sentence "This return receipt has been approved for resale listing." Compare the phrase "has been approved" in the draft sentence against the approval status field in the material. Expected observation: the material does not state approval passed, so the draft sentence is not supported and stays pending verification.
- Input the handover request "Please move this return receipt into the resale listing process" together with its approval status. Compare the request text against the approval record. Expected observation: if the approval record is empty or pending review, the request is in a pending-review state and does not constitute an executed action.
- Input chatId and a session list request with source=api. Compare the chatId in the returned list against the target chatId. Expected observation: if the target chatId appears in the source=api list, the session belongs to the API source; if it does not appear, record the gap and do not presume mixed counting.
These three checks test the named primary task: aligning conversation logs with the return inbound receipt, inspection photos, and grade determination record for operating reviews. The material text does not state approval passed, and the draft sentence is not supported by it. Missing evidence remains missing.
