What the documents look like
Letter-of-credit document examination and presentation turns on documentary consistency rather than tax matching. The working materials are the issuing bank's advice, the freight forwarder's bill of lading, the commercial invoice, the insurance policy, the draft, and the bank's presentation record. Each shipment produces one update cycle, and the operational consequences of a mistake are refusal, charges, or delayed collection of proceeds. These facts shape what a conversation log has to answer at handover: which materials, requests, and operations appeared in a given session, and what authorization state each of them occupied when the case moved to the next desk.
FastGPT conversation logs are organized by two identifiers. A chatId identifies one conversation under one application, and a dataId identifies one exchange within that conversation. Operations handover therefore has to align the target conversation with the corresponding business record, without merging sessions that arrived through different entry points. Where run detail is needed, the official contract is to set detail and read module status and complete results from responseData. Business fields that the log does not return remain unknown; their absence does not establish that the data was retained elsewhere. The model and temperature fields in a chat request are determined by the orchestration and do not change according to API parameters. Proxying a team member identity through authProxy requires the team owner to enable it when creating or editing the key, and the proxied identity still needs permission on the target application and conversation. Retrieval and similarity scores carry no permission or entity-isolation duty.
Constraints at the conversation logs step
The conversation interface does not return actual token consumption. Where that value is needed, detail=true must be set and the tokens values inside responseData calculated manually. This matters at handover because a receiving operator may need to reconstruct what a session actually executed, and the top-level usage block is not a substitute for the per-module record.
A hypothetical paper exercise illustrates the authorization question without asserting that any real case was run. Sample identifier: chatId "LC2405-DOC-01". Source wording available for comparison: the issuing bank's advice states "latest shipment date 20 May 2024, presentation period 21 days after shipment"; the freight forwarder's bill of lading states "date of loading on board 18 May 2024"; the commercial invoice amount equals the credit amount. One draft sentence submitted inside that session reads: "This shipment has completed document examination under the credit terms and is ready for presentation." In the conversation log, the node status corresponding to that draft sentence is pending manual review, and no examination-completion record exists. The request awaiting determination is whether that draft sentence may serve as the basis for presentation when handed to the next desk.
The session source also has to be fixed. A query with source=api returns conversations created through the API and does not return conversations created on the page. Counting both together would misstate what the handover covers.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Configuration item | Hypothetical starting value for this exercise | Reason for the choice and comparison method |
|---|---|---|
| chatId alignment | LC2405-DOC-01 | Compare character by character against the session identifier in the business record; if they differ, the session is not merged into the same handover scope |
| detail value | true | responseData is needed for node status and complete results; compare against the outcome when detail is false, where only choices are returned |
| Run-detail fields | moduleType, status, runningTime | Check each field actually returned by the interface; examination-conclusion fields that are not returned are recorded as unknown |
| Handover boundary | pending manual review | Compare against the value "examination completed"; when the two differ, the draft sentence cannot serve as presentation basis |
| Session source | source=api | Kept separate from page sessions so that conversations from different sources are not counted together |
Three common errors
- Treating a node status of pending manual review as completed examination. The pending-review status and "examination completed" are different facts, and the draft sentence cannot be handed over on the strength of the former.
- Treating an identical chatId as sufficient authorization. A chatId only identifies a conversation; a proxied identity still needs permission on the target application and conversation, and the two cannot substitute for each other.
- Treating the existence of a log record as completed compliance audit. Reconciliation, retention, and compliance requirements are implemented separately in the full business solution, and a log record does not by itself complete a compliance audit.
How to verify the setup
- Enter the chatId, the draft sentence, and the source wording from the hypothetical exercise above, then compare the node status field against the value "examination completed". The condition for serving as presentation basis is met only when the status field explicitly reads examination completed and the material dates fall inside the valid range; when the status reads pending manual review, record the outcome as unsupported.
- Enter a request with the same chatId and compare the authProxy enabled state against whether the proxied identity holds permission on the target application and conversation. The condition for a proxied call is met only when both are present; when either is missing, record a permission gap.
- Enter a request with detail=true and compare the fields actually returned in responseData against the examination-conclusion fields the handover requires. The condition for retention checking is met only when every required field appears in the returned result; fields that are not returned are recorded as unknown, and retention is not presumed.
