Letter-of-credit documents: upgrades for operations handover

Review upgrades for operations handover in Letter-of-credit documents. Check document scope, failure paths and source evidence through controlled tests.

What the documents look like

Letter-of-credit document examination and presentation serves the paying conditions of a bank. The working focus is consistency across documents rather than tax matching. Each transaction draws on the issuing bank advice, UCP600 clauses, the freight forwarder bill of lading, and bank presentation records, and the underlying materials are the letter of credit, commercial invoice, bill of lading, insurance policy, and draft. Data moves per transaction. The three slowest stages are reviewing letter-of-credit terms, producing consistent documents, and handling discrepancies. Operational handover takes place inside a deployment and upgrade window, when examination materials, pending presentation requests, and operating permissions must move together. The materials themselves do not constitute authorization, and retrieving a document does not mean the current operator holds presentation or amendment rights.

Constraints at the upgrades step

Hypothetical drill sample. A foreign-trade documentation desk prepares a handover package before an upgrade. The source text reads: "Issuing bank advice: letter of credit number LC-HY-0417, beneficiary Far East Sample Trading, latest shipment date 2026-05-20, latest presentation date 2026-06-10, documents required include a full set of clean bills of lading and an insurance policy." "Bank presentation record: on 2026-05-28 a commercial invoice and a draft were received, status pending review." The draft sentence awaiting judgment reads: "After this handover, examination rights and presentation rights transfer together, and the original documentation clerk no longer retains presentation operations." That sentence states no authorization clause and no effective scope, so it remains unsupported.

At upgrade time, compare the current version and the target version against the corresponding upgrade notes. Do not infer current behavior from an old configuration name. AIPROXY_API_ENDPOINT and AIPROXY_API_TOKEN are shared required items for App and Admin, and a missing value causes startup validation failure. This is a deployment condition and does not change letter-of-credit examination or presentation permissions. The documented upgrade scripts 20261008_migrate_chunk_training and 20261009_migrate_dataset_rebuild_status are manual triggers that do not block service startup; the second depends on completion of the first. Confirm that all old-version FastGPT App and Pro instances have fully stopped and that old task leases have expired before executing the first.

Configuration and implementation checks

ItemHypothetical starting value for this drillReason and comparison method
AIPROXY_API_ENDPOINTAssume http://aiproxy:3000Documentation requires the root address without /v1 appended; compare against the documented example format
AIPROXY_API_TOKENAssume an environment-specific value for this drillDocumentation requires a non-empty value matching the AI Proxy server; compare against the AI Proxy server configuration
AGENT_SANDBOX_PROVIDERAssume left emptyDocumentation states sandbox is not enabled when empty; compare against whether this deployment scope needs a sandbox
FILE_TOKEN_KEYAssume a random strong key for this drillDocumentation requires this at runtime with a length of at least 6 characters; compare against the length floor
SYNC_INDEXAssume kept at trueDocumentation states missing MongoDB indexes are created at startup; compare against any plan to maintain indexes independently
DEFAULT_TEAM_BASIC_PERMISSIONS_ENABLEDAssume kept at falseDocumentation states this does not affect existing teams; compare against the requirement that FastGPT and Pro Admin keep the same setting

Three common errors

  1. Treating a pending-review presentation record as a completed presentation, then concluding that rights have transferred. Check: input the bank presentation record above, compare the status field "pending review" against "completed," and observe whether the status remains pending review.
  2. Treating the presence of a configuration item as business authorization. Check: input the fact that AIPROXY_API_TOKEN is configured, compare it against letter-of-credit examination and presentation permissions, and observe whether the two belong to different layers.
  3. Treating retrieved letter-of-credit materials as evidence that the operator holds amendment rights. Check: input the source text and the operator identity, compare the visible range of materials against the authorization boundary, and observe whether the source of permission is stated elsewhere.

How to verify the setup

  1. Verification one: input the source text and the draft sentence, compare whether the draft sentence states an authorization clause and an effective scope, and confirm that the support condition is met only when the source text explicitly writes that content; otherwise record it as unsupported.
  2. Verification two: input the hypothetical AIPROXY_API_ENDPOINT value, compare whether it carries a /v1 suffix, and confirm that the documented format requirement is met only when it is a root address without that suffix.
  3. Verification three: input the bank presentation record status "pending review," compare it against "completed," and confirm that presentation may be treated as complete only when the status field explicitly reads completed; otherwise keep it as pending confirmation.
  4. Verification four: input the hypothetical FILE_TOKEN_KEY value, compare its character length against the documented floor of 6, and confirm that the runtime requirement is met only when the length is at least 6.
  5. Verification five: input the hypothetical SYNC_INDEX value, compare it against the documented behavior of creating missing MongoDB indexes at startup, and confirm that the documented default behavior applies only when the value is true; when it is false, record that index maintenance must be handled independently and remains unknown for this drill.

These checks describe expected comparisons. They do not report that any test, deployment, approval, or handover actually occurred.
