Livestream sample inspections: upgrades for operations handover

Review upgrades for operations handover in Livestream sample inspections. Check document scope, failure paths and source evidence through controlled tests.

What the documents look like

Sample inspection for livestream selling happens before a broadcast. The question is whether a product can be sold and whether it suits on-camera demonstration. The working materials are supplier qualification files, testing-agency reports, platform negative catalogs, and historical return rates, and the day-to-day documents are sample evaluation forms, quality inspection reports, supplier qualification files, and prohibited-sale lists. This material updates weekly and per item, so a deployment or upgrade must first confirm the current version and the target version, then read current behavior from the upgrade notes. Behavior cannot be inferred from an old configuration name.

The operational handover problem sits on top of that material. A retrieval hit returns content. It does not perform permission checks, approval, database writes, or external synchronization; each of those needs its own implementation. Forms collect values. A similarity score is not a category, entity, or permission filter, and it does not exclude unrelated businesses or unauthorized records. Only libraries on the same vector model can be associated together; libraries on different vector models must first be checked against their identifier, and non-matching ones excluded rather than compared.

Constraints at the upgrades step

At this step the constraint is that the handover decision must be traceable to the material itself. The status written in a qualification file, the status written in a sample evaluation form, and any conclusion about listing or authorization are separate facts. A pending review is not an approval. An offered option is not an execution. A sample awaiting trial is not a listing decision. Where the material does not state a conclusion, the conclusion remains unsupported, and the evidence gap stays open.

Hypothetical drill sample. Material text for checking: a supplier qualification file states the entity as "Xingye Daily Chemicals (example)", the object as "filing number example-001", the status as "submitted, pending platform review", and the validity scope as "January 2026 to December 2026". A sample evaluation form states the object as "shampoo sample A" and the status as "awaiting trial". Proposed handover request for judgment: "Mark the Xingye Daily Chemicals qualification as approved and authorize the selection manager to list shampoo sample A." The material shows only that the qualification is pending review and the sample is awaiting trial. Neither document states an approval or an authorization conclusion.

Configuration and implementation checks

The table below covers this page's documents and lists documented settings and implementation checks relevant to this feature. Where a value is a starting point for the drill, it is labelled as such and is not an official default.

ItemValue or stateRelation to the sample
AIPROXYAPIENDPOINTDrill starting point: http://aiproxy:3000Documented as the AI Proxy root address, without appending a chat interface path
AIPROXYAPITOKENNon-empty, matching the serverDocumented as required; a missing value fails startup validation
AGENTSANDBOXPROVIDEREmptyDocumented as not enabling the sandbox when empty
FE_DOMAINDrill starting point: http://localhost:3000Documented as required, used to complete resource paths
CHECKINTERNALIPDrill starting point: falseDocumented as applying only to user- or workflow-controllable outbound URLs
SKIPFILETYPE_CHECKDrill starting point: falseDocumented as whether to skip the upload file type check

The starting values above are chosen only so the drill has a concrete comparison point. Each is compared against the documented requirement for that setting, not against a default that this page invents. The version upgrade notes for this release describe two manually triggered migration scripts, one for historical chunk training tasks and one for knowledge base rebuild status, and state that the first should be run only after all old-version App and Pro instances have fully stopped and old task leases have expired. The notes also describe a data index three-state flow, parsed, indexing, and indexed, in which data awaiting indexing is isolated from retrieval. Whether any of this applies to a given deployment depends on what that deployment actually runs, and the drill does not assume it.

Three common errors

  1. Reading "pending platform review" as "approved". The input is the qualification text above, the compared field is the status value, and the two values differ, so the proposed approval is unsupported.
  2. Treating a retrieval hit as authorization. The input is qualification content returned by retrieval, the compared object is the authorization action, and retrieval does not perform permission checks.
  3. Treating "awaiting trial" as listable. The input is the sample evaluation form status, the compared object is a listing conclusion, and the material does not state that conclusion.

How to verify the setup

  1. Input the qualification text above together with the proposed handover request. Compare whether the status field states "approved". The condition is met only when the material explicitly states it; otherwise record the item as pending verification.
  2. Input the sample evaluation form text. Compare whether the status field states "listable". The material states only "awaiting trial", so the conclusion is unsupported.
  3. Input an explicit paper input of an empty result, written as [], and check the downstream design. Observe whether the downstream treats the empty result as no authorization, rather than inferring that an invented rule must return empty.

For the retrieval side, the check is observational. Note what the query returns, and note the failure branch where a cross-model library is excluded after identifier comparison. Do not claim that a first result is guaranteed, that all relevant items are recalled, or that an unrelated query returns nothing. The documented optional paths in an overall flow do not mean every request executes all of them; image retrieval requires a corresponding image input and model capability, and reranking requires a model and must be enabled according to its settings.
