What the documents look like
Commission settlement happens after a sale closes, so reconciliation centers on valid promotion orders, refund commission clawbacks, settlement statements and invoices. Finance settlement staff, alliance operations staff and creator business staff share these materials, and the weekly and monthly update rhythm makes handover windows overlap with billing cycles. This page addresses only conversation logs and audit under operations permission and handover management: which materials, actions and requests sit at which authorization state during handover, and how far logs and interface returns can be checked.
Conversation identity is defined by chatId. Under one application, different chatId values belong to different conversations, so a target conversation and a business record cannot be checked by mixing conversations from different entry points. When run details are needed, detail is set to true according to the official contract and module status and complete results are read in responseData. Business data not returned in that structure cannot be presumed fully retained. Identity fields under test mode may differ from a formal call, so input, history and returned content are checked separately. The existence of a log only shows that the call was recorded; reconciliation, retention and compliance audit are carried out separately by a complete business plan.
Constraints at the conversation logs step
A conversation is retrieved by chatId, and the last message content is used as the user question while other messages are ignored. This matters at handover because a settlement staff member may open a conversation that looks related to a billing period while the actual retrieval target is a different conversation under a different chatId. The source parameter limits which conversations are returned; source=api returns conversations created through the API and does not return page conversations. Clearing application conversations through the documented endpoint clears only conversations created through the API Key, and does not clear conversations from online use, shared links or other sources. A retrieval hit does not mean the caller has settlement or clawback operating permission.
Hypothetical drill sample: a finance settlement staff member leaves and hands over duties. The handover material reads: "Settlement statement A-0715, covering valid promotion orders from July 1 to July 15; refund commission clawback detail R-0715, containing commission reversals for 3 refunds; invoice I-0715, status pending issuance. The above materials were transferred by alliance operations on July 16, and the recipient has not yet obtained operating permission for this application in the system." The draft sentence under review is: "Handover complete, the recipient can now execute commission adjustment and clawback confirmation." The subject in this draft sentence is the recipient, the object is commission adjustment and clawback confirmation, and the state is that operating permission has not yet been obtained.
Configuration and implementation checks
The table below centers on this sample and lists documented settings or implementation checks relevant to this feature and primary task. The values are starting points for this hypothetical drill only, used for comparison against a target value, and do not represent official defaults.
| Configuration item | Hypothetical starting point | Check method and reason |
|---|---|---|
| appId | Sample application identifier | Combined with chatId to define the target conversation and confirm the log belongs to the same application |
| chatId | Conversation identifier of the handover conversation | Conversations are retrieved under the same chatId; records are not merged across chatId values |
| detail | true | Set according to the contract when intermediate values and complete results are needed, then check responseData |
| source | api | Limits the source when retrieving the conversation list, avoiding mixing with page conversations |
| loadCustomFeedbacks | true | Reads custom feedback and checks the feedback fields in the conversation record |
| pageSize | 10 | Reads records page by page and compares with total to confirm whether all records were retrieved |
Three common errors
- Treating a retrieval hit as authorization. Input is a record in the handover conversation where a settlement statement was retrieved; the comparison object is the recipient's operating permission state; the observable result is that the retrieval return and the permission field appear separately, and the permission field remains not granted.
- Treating a pending issuance status as issued. Input is invoice I-0715 with status "pending issuance"; the comparison object is the phrase "issuance completed" in the draft sentence; the observable result is that the two do not match and that phrase is unsupported.
- Using test mode identity fields for a formal call check. Input is a call record under test mode; the comparison object is the appId and chatId required for a formal call; the observable result is that the identity fields differ, and attribution is judged only after checking each separately.
How to verify the setup
- Input the handover material text and the draft sentence from the hypothetical sample, compare the permission state stated in the draft sentence with "has not yet obtained operating permission" in the source text, and observe whether the draft sentence does not match the source text and is judged unsupported.
- Input the chatId of the handover conversation and the chatId of another conversation, compare the records retrieved in the two calls, and observe whether the records belong to different conversations and are not merged.
- Input one call with detail=true, compare whether the run details of the target module appear in responseData, and observe that when they appear the run details of that call are recorded, and when they do not appear the result is recorded as not returned without presuming retention.
