Wholesale stall trading: conversation logs for operating reviews

Review conversation logs for operating reviews in Wholesale stall trading. Check sources, input boundaries, error handling and repeatable test evidence.

What the documents look like

Wholesale stall trading is more fragmented than regional distributor restocking. It relies on on-site bargaining and consignment shipping, and the main data sources are wholesale market quotations, stall inventory, WeChat payments, and logistics consignment notes. The documents handled day to day include purchase slips, handwritten sales slips, stall lease contracts, and payment receipts. These materials sit on different carriers, so the conversation record between a stall owner and a buyer becomes a key thread that links the stages of a transaction together. Operating reports and anomaly reviews need conversation logs aligned against purchase slips and sales slips before early signals of overdue payment, wrong or short shipment, or market disputes can be found.

For this page the objects under review are the conversation log and the business document it is checked against. The conversation log is identified by chatId, which is the ID of one conversation under one application, and dataId, which is the ID of one exchange under one conversation. Checking a log against a business record requires confirming the target conversation through chatId; conversations from different entry points are not combined into one total. Run detail requires the official contract setting detail and inspection of responseData. Business data that was not returned cannot be treated as fully retained. The conversation source parameter source=api retrieves conversations created through the API and does not retrieve conversations on the page.

Constraints at the conversation logs step

The identity of a log entry is fixed by chatId and dataId, so a review that mixes two chatId values produces a total that belongs to no single conversation. Run detail is only visible when detail is set and the responseData field is inspected; a missing field is unknown, and neither retention nor non-retention can be inferred from its absence. The source parameter narrows the retrieval scope to API-created conversations. A log entry existing in the database is not the same as a completed compliance audit; reconciliation, retention, and compliance requirements are handled by a full business plan outside this interface.

The following hypothetical drill sample is used throughout this page. On 12 March 2025 a stall owner bargained with a buyer over a batch of spring women's outerwear. In the WeChat conversation the buyer confirmed: "Unit price 85 yuan, order 200 pieces, deliver to the consignment station before 15 March." The stall's handwritten sales slip records: "12 March, women's outerwear, 200 pieces, unit price 85 yuan, total 17,000 yuan, unpaid." The pending handover request to be judged is: "Please hand the conversation log for the 12 March outerwear transaction and the sales slip to finance together, for collecting the balance." This request involves retrieving a conversation log and handing over business material. Confirming it requires the conversation scope that chatId points to, whether the log contains the complete bargaining and confirmation process for that transaction, and whether the handover falls inside the authorized boundary.

Configuration and implementation checks

The table lists officially documented settings or implementation checks relevant to this page's task. The numeric values are hypothetical starting points for this drill, used to explain the reason for the choice and the comparison method. They are not official defaults.

Configuration itemHypothetical starting point for this drillReason and comparison method
detailtrueRetrieve run detail in responseData; compare against false, where only the final answer is returned, to confirm whether intermediate values appear
streamfalseRead the complete response body in one pass; compare against true, where output is distinguished by event, to confirm the difference in output form
sourceapiRetrieve conversations created through the API; compare against omitting source to confirm whether page conversations are included
loadCustomFeedbackstrueRead custom feedback; compare against omitting it to confirm whether the feedback field appears in the returned list
pageSize20Hypothetical starting point for paginated reading of the conversation list; compare against the total field to decide whether further retrieval is needed
chatIdthe conversation identifier in this hypothetical sampleConfirm the target conversation; distinguish it from other chatId values under the same appId to confirm correct log attribution

Three common errors

  1. Merging conversation logs from different chatId values into one calculation. The input is a conversation list containing two different chatId values; the comparison is the dataId-linked exchange records under each; the observable result is whether cross-conversation merging appears. The correct action is to check each chatId separately and not combine conversations from different sources.
  2. Treating responseData that is absent when detail=false as proof that business data was fully retained. The input is a response with detail=false; the comparison is the returned fields against the responseData present when detail=true; the observable result is which intermediate values are missing. A field that was not returned is unknown, and neither retention nor non-retention can be inferred.
  3. Treating retrieval or form submission as authorized execution. The input is a log retrieval request; the comparison is the operation scope in the request against the authorized boundary; the observable result is whether an out-of-scope retrieval appears or a pending-review state is treated as approved. A pending review does not establish that operation permission is absent, and signing, reaching cooperation, and contract effectiveness are three distinct facts.

How to verify the setup

  1. Input the chatId and the corresponding dataId for the 12 March outerwear transaction in the hypothetical sample. Compare whether the returned conversation record contains the buyer's confirmation of unit price 85 yuan, order 200 pieces, and delivery to the consignment station before 15 March. The condition is met when the returned record contains that bargaining and confirmation process and the dataId corresponds to the sales slip date. If the record is empty or the content does not match, record the gap.
  2. Input two requests, one with detail=true and one with detail=false. Compare whether responseData is present. With detail=true the responseData array should appear; with detail=false it should not. If responseData still appears when detail=false, the request parameter did not take effect as expected and the request body needs checking.
  3. Input a conversation list request with source=api. Compare whether the returned list contains the chatId of this hypothetical sample. The condition is met when the chatId appears in the list and total is at least 1, indicating the conversation was created through the API and can be read. If the list is empty, confirm whether the conversation was created through the API; conversations on the page are outside the retrieval scope of source=api.
