What the documents look like
For multilingual work in JD POP seller operations, this page examines FastGPT vector indexes. JD product indexes need separate evidence for compatibility with a bracket and inclusion of that bracket. The examples are hypothetical.
Constraints at the vector indexes step
Proposed JD material says an item works with a side bracket while its packing list excludes that bracket. The English page calls it compatible with the bracket, sold separately. A question about contents needs packing evidence, not a compatibility relation. An index retaining side bracket alone mixes compatibility and inclusion. Its meaning should still map to the complete original, preserving separate supply and exclusion. The two languages may describe the same limit, but repeated component words cannot establish actual box contents or a current store’s sales arrangement.
Configuration and implementation checks
| Material check | Conditions in this test | Implementation evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Relation term | Compatible with | Do not replace with included. |
| Excluded object | Side bracket | Compare exclusion and separately. |
| Configuration identity | Current model | Check packing-list ownership. |
| Question split | Compatibility and inclusion | Trace evidence separately. |
| Independent count | Indexes share an original | Do not count separate lists. |
Documented conditions
| Documented item / implementation check | Condition |
|---|---|
Embedding model | Knowledge bases associated with one search node must use the same embedding model. |
Original data and indexes | One original data block can have multiple indexes. |
Index content | Index wording should be complete and focused. |
Image indexes | Where image retrieval is used, inspect descriptions or image vectors. |
Version and result check | After a change, reuse questions to compare originals. |
Three common errors
First, an index may change compatible into included; inspect relation wording and packing list for an added inclusion conclusion. Second, a description may omit sold separately; compare the English clause with Chinese exclusion and verify the answer retains the excluded object. Third, a bracket-included list from another model may map to this item; inspect model and original-data association instead of joining configurations through a shared accessory name. These concern relation, negation and model identity. The checks compare material and establish no real stock, sale or fulfilment state for the store.
How to verify the setup
Ask compatibility and box contents separately, retaining the returned index and original list. Missing current-model packing material warrants no completed configuration. Several question indexes for one original remain one source. Check model consistency when multiple bases share a retrieval node, without inferring guaranteed multilingual recall from one hit. This exercise tests no physical fit, checks no actual inventory and gives no price. Failure to retrieve bracket material does not establish incompatibility; the source’s exclusion also does not establish that the customer never purchased the bracket separately.
